Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Deposit

  • To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable deposit of £300 is required at the time of booking.
  • No dates will be reserved until the deposit is received and confirmation provided.
  • The deposit guarantees availability and includes time spent on pre-wedding planning and admin.

2. Payment

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 4 weeks before your wedding date.
  • If the balance is not paid on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided).

3. Cancellation by the Client

  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email.
  • If you cancel:
    • More than 4 weeks (28 days) before your wedding date: only the deposit is retained.
    • Less than 4 weeks (28 days) before your wedding: the full balance becomes non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be given for events beyond your control (e.g., illness, change of mind, weather disruptions).

4. Rescheduling

  • If you need to reschedule your booked date, we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • New dates are subject to our availability.
  • If we are unavailable on the new date, this will be treated as a cancellation (see cancellation by the client section above).
  • If we are available, and the new date is within 6 months of the original booked date, any amount paid carries over.
  • If the new date is more than 6 months after the original booked date, a new deposit will be required to secure the new date.

5. Cancellation by the Photographer

  • In the unlikely event we are unable to photograph your wedding due to accident, illness or emergency:
    • We will try to arrange a suitable replacement photographer of a similar style.
    • If a replacement is not possible, a full refund of all payments made will be issued.
  • Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid and no additional costs can be incurred.

6. Coverage

  • The Photographers will be the sole professional photographers on the day.
  • We will capture your day in our natural, documentary style, but we cannot guarantee specific shots or group portraits unless agreed in advance.
  • It is your responsibility to inform us of any must-have moments or group shots before the wedding.
  • If there are any important moments you would like captured outside of our agreed coverage hours, please let us know prior to the wedding date. We will work with you to find a suitable solution, which may include a later/earlier start time or extended coverage (additional fees may apply).
  • Our standard hours are:
    • Full Day Coverage – Coverage begins from bridal preparations and ends at the first dance and no later than 8:30pm. Up to 10 consecutive hours coverage, including a break with a meal provided. Additional hours can be added.
    • Half Day Coverage – Coverage begins from bridal preparations and ends at the start of the wedding breakfast. Up to 5 consecutive hours coverage. Additional hours can be added.

7. Creative License

  • The Photographers retain full creative control over the final images, including editing style and image selection.

8. Image Delivery

  • For Full Day Coverage, we will deliver no less than 600 images.
  • For Half Day Coverage, we will deliver no less than 350 images.
  • Images will be delivered within 6 weeks of your wedding day, via a private, password-protected online gallery that will be active for 3 months. We recommend downloading and backing up your images as soon as possible.
  • Clients who pay for the Faster Editing extra will receive the same service within 2 weeks of their wedding day.
  • Final edited images will be provided in high-resolution JPEG format.
  • RAW files and unedited images are not included or available for delivery.
  • Images are stored by the Photographer for a minimum of 12 months and are then permanently deleted.

9. Copyright & Usage

  • The Photographers retain the copyright of all images.
  • Clients are granted a personal, non-commercial licence to print and share their photos.
  • By booking our services, you grant the Photographers the right to use your images for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes (e.g. website, blog, social media, printed materials), unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing before your wedding day.

10. Travel and Accommodation

  • There are no travel costs within a 100-mile radius of the S35 postcode area.
  • Bookings outside of this radius may incur a travel fee, which will be discussed at the time of booking.
  • For bookings requiring overnight accommodation (e.g. early starts, late finishes or long travel distances), accommodation expenses may apply and will be agreed upon in advance.

11. Liability

  • We take every reasonable effort to provide high-quality services and safeguard your images.
  • In the rare event of data loss, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, our liability is strictly limited to a full refund of all payments made.
  • We cannot be held responsible for any missed images due to weather, schedule delays, guest behaviour, or venue restrictions.
  • There are often strict rules on where a photographer may stand and how often they may move during religious ceremonies. We cannot be held responsible for any missed images due to these restrictions.
  • While every effort is made to ensure satisfaction, photography is a creative service and results are subjective. We cannot be held liable for dissatisfaction due to individual preferences regarding style, composition, or editing.

12. Client Responsibilities

  • It is your responsibility to ensure cooperation from guests, venue and vendors to allow us to perform our job effectively.
  • Please provide a detailed schedule and any important contacts for the day at least one week before the event.
  • For clients booking Full Day Coverage, it is expected that a hot meal will be provided for the photographers, usually at the same time as the wedding breakfast is served.
  • The Photographer reserves the right to leave the venue and end coverage if faced with abusive behaviour, unsafe conditions, or excessive intoxication that puts them or their equipment at risk. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

13. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for any failures, delays or cancellations due to events outside our control, including but not limited to: fire, flood, natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, acts of government, pandemics, or serious illness.
  • In such cases, we will work with you to find a fair solution, including rescheduling or relocating where possible.
